Komerční pojišťovna in the role of administrator of personal data

Komerční pojišťovna, a.s. is the administrator of your data. The Administrator collects and manages your data and is responsible for their proper and lawful processing. We use information that you have provided to us, or that we have received in connection with the realization of one or more purposes.

You can claim your rights against the administrator as mentioned hereunder. In case of granting Group Marketing consent, data is shared across the entire KB Group.

We process your data transparently, fairly and in accordance with the law. You have the right to ask us to provide you with information about your personal data that we process, the purpose and the nature of the processing of personal data and the recipients of personal data. If you have found, or believe that we perform the processing of your personal data in violation with the protection of your private and personal life or in conflict with the law, you are entitled to demand an explanation from us, or require that KP corrects the mistake.

You also have the right to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection in the event of a breach of our responsibilities and to request the corrective measures.

Sources, scope and purpose of personal data processing

We process personal data to the extent that you provide to us, or our contractors, in connection with negotiating and entering into a contractual relationship, or the settlement of claim events. We also use information obtained from public registers and other publicly available sources for certain products.

We process the personal data for a period strictly necessary to provide services to our clients. Data and documents are archived in accordance with the applicable legislation and internal documents. Details can be found in the attachment Main legislation on personal data protection.

Our company has set strict rules on access of employees or external partners, who have the role of our processors or administrators (third party), to personal data.
